PhillyCarShare is a 501(3) Not For Profit Corporation which provides short term car rental to its members. It differs from traditional car rental companies in the following ways:

  • Hourly rates are provided
  • Cars are not kept in one location, but are stored in "pods" around the city.
  • It is a membership organization. A membership is required before reserving a car.
  • Gas is included with the fees.

Cars available for rental include Pruises, Mini Coopers, BMWs, pickups, wagons, and minivans.
